President John Dramani Mahama has announced the appointments of additional key personnel to his office.
These latest appointments aim at “strengthening governance and enhancing operational efficiency” at the presidency, a statement signed by the Acting Spokesperson to the President, Felix Kwakye Ofosu, on January 21, 2025, explained.
The new appointees, drawn from diverse backgrounds, are expected to bring their wealth of experience and dedication to their respective roles for effective leadership and responsive administration.
The high-profile personnel include Mrs. Joyce Bawah Mogtari, who steps in as Presidential Adviser and Special Aide; Seth Emmanuel Terkper, former Finance Minister now serving as Presidential Adviser on the Economy ; while Stanislav Xoese Dogbe; and Nana Oye Bampoe Addo; take on crucial roles as Deputy Chiefs of Staff for Operations and Administration.
Media personality Shamima Muslim will also serve as Deputy Presidential Spokesperson.
Others include Nana Yaa Jantuah, a former General Secretary of the Convention People’s Party(CPP), now serving as a Presidential Staffer; and Professor Kwaku Danso-Boafo, serving as a Cabinet Secretary.
