A 48-year-old chainsaw operator, Emmanuel Narh, met his untimely death after a tree he was cutting fell and killed him instantly at Twifu Mintaso in the Twifu Atti-Morkwa District of the Central Region.

The deceased, popularly known as Bicycle, was with his six-year-old son in the bush when the incident occurred on Tuesday, May 2, 2023.

Information gathered revealed that when the tree struck the deceased legs, his little son, who couldn’t help his father, ran to the house and informed the family about the incident.

It is reported that it took about four hours for some family members and residents to arrive at the scene but unfortunately, the chainsaw operator had died by the time they arrived.

The body has since been deposited at the Twifu Praso Government Hospital Mortuary, and the case has been reported to the police.

Meanwhile, residents have accused the deceased of going to the bush on a Tuesday.

According to them, it is an abomination to go to the farm or bush on that sacred day; hence, they believe that the gods punished the deceased for disobedience.

Emmanuel Narh left behind two (2) wives and five (5) children.
