Ghana Education Service (GES) has declared Tuesday, March 7, a holiday for all students in the country.
A statement from the service said this is to enable the students to have some rest after preparing vigorously for the Independence Day anniversary Parade.
The Independence Day celebration which was held on Monday, March 6, had students across the country converge at Adaklu in the Volta Region.
Various Metropolitan, Municipal and District Assemblies also celebrated the event at the local level giving students the opportunity to take part in the 66th anniversary.
Schools, according to the GES will fully resume on Wednesday, March 8, 2023.
