A huge rainstorm is set to batter the UK in just 24 hours time, with more than 100mm falling in some areas – it will then give way to the cold and frost once more
The UK is set to be battered by a monster rain storm starting in just 24 hours time, the Met Office has confirmed.
While most of the country had thought that the bad weather was over, having seen torrential snow storms and record-breaking sub-zero temperatures in recent weeks, it has now been confirmed to the Daily Star that another dangerous weather system is on the way.
Starting from today, a rain storm lasting around 24 hours is set to batter the entire country – which will then give way to frosty weather once more.
