Nigeria’s Rivers State Police Command has arrested a 17-year-old boy identified as Noble Uzuchi over the impregnation of 10 ladies. The suspect was nabbed alongside his accomplice, Chigozie Ogbonna, a 29-year-old man. According to the law enforcement authorities, the two suspects, and two other ladies, Favour Bright, 30; and Peace Alikoi, 40 were allegedly running a baby factory. The Rivers Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Grace Iringe-Koko said that the arrests were carried out following a tipoff. The Finance Ministry on Wednesday said negotiations on the terms of a domestic debt exchange agreement with local pension funds were continuing and that they would be made public once an agreement on the details is reached. Government, in a bid to mitigate an ongoing economic crisis, has negotiated a staff-level agreement for a $3 billion loan package from the International Monetary Fund (IMF). The government is cautioning that the failure of eligible individual bondholders to take part in the domestic debt exchange would worsen the current economic crisis. The Ghana AIDS Commission (GAC) has launched the National AIDS Spending Assessment (NASA) report for 2019, 2020 and 2021, which shows that the country spent $323.7 million in the years under review. The report showed that the total HIV and AIDS-related expenditure for 2019, 2020 and 2021 stood at $88,648,568, $107,280,242 and $127,828,300, respectively. The four were captured in a media investigation piece operating through agents, as well as security men to outwit the official mandatory requirements for personal financial gains. The Ghana Education Service (GES) has dismissed eight female students of the Chiana Senior High School in the Kassena-Nankana West District of the Upper East Region for making derogatory statements against President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.
