Parliament has approved the first batch of ministerial nominees submitted by President John Dramani Mahama.
It follows a unanimous recommendation by the Appointments Committee of Parliament after thorough vetting processes.
The committee gave the green light for Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson, Dr. Dominic Ayine, and John Jinapor to assume office as substantive ministers for Finance, Attorney General and Minister for Justice, and Energy, respectively.
Following a hot debate and submission from the Majority and Minority sides on Tuesday, January 21, the House, chaired by the Second Speaker of Parliament Andrews Asiamah, approved the nominees.
