
The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has announced the provisional results for the 2025 WASSCE for Private Candidates, First Series. A total of 12,452 candidates participated, including 5,269 males and 7,998 females.
However, 738 candidates were absent.
WAEC reported some malpractices during the examination and marking process. As a result, the subject results of 34 candidates have been withheld, while the full results of 43 candidates are also pending further investigation.
The Council assured that it is dedicated to maintaining the integrity of the exam process and will finalize investigations promptly. Results will be released once investigations are completed.
Stakeholders, including candidates and educational institutions, are encouraged to remain patient as the investigations continue, with updates to follow as needed.
