The National Women’s Organiser of the New Patriotic Party, Kate Gyamfuah, has attributed the recent prophecy issued by the Founder and Leader of Glorious Word Power Ministry International, Rev. Isaac Owusu-Bempah, on the outcome of the 2024 presidential election, to anger rather than divine inspiration.
According to Kate Gyamfuah, Rev. Owusu-Bempah’s prediction of National Democratic Congress Flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama, as the ordained winner of the presidential polls is a prophecy motivated by anger and not from God.
“I know him; I know the pain, the prayers, and the fasting he has taken us through. He has worked a lot for the NPP, so he is not happy with what happened, as well as some people going on radio to attack him. So, I firmly believe that it was anger; it was an anger-induced prophecy and not a prophecy from within him or having been told by God. I won’t disrespect him, but that is what my soul tells me,” she stated during an interview on Okay FM’s Ade Akye Abia on Wednesday, October 2, 2024.
Rev. Owusu-Bempah, who used to be a staunch supporter of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), gave his prophecy during Mahama’s fellowship with the clergy, which was held on October 1, 2024, at DE ICON Event Centre, East Legon.
“When the prayer was going on, this is what the Lord has told me. Because of the good heart of this man, the Lord has entrusted the country in his hands again. Nothing can stop it,” he stated.
But according to Kate Gyamfuah, Rev. Owusu-Bempah’s proclamation is motivated by anger and pain and is therefore subject to bias.
“From here, I am going to look for him and tell him to let bygones be bygones…” she stated.
